Dated 11 March 2024, it introduced Para 2.03A into FTP 2023, giving Advance Authorisation holders, EOUs, and SEZ Units relief from mandatory QCO compliance for inputs required for export production. Dated 2 June 2026, it amends Para 2.03A(iii) to widen the exemption for SEZ Units and Developers, extending it to all permissible goods — including capital goods, spares, and consumables — for authorised SEZ operations, not just export-production inputs.
